The non-profit organization A.E.I AUDIOVISUAL FORUM, through its actions, focuses on the three pillars: ARCHEOLOGY – NATIONALITY – HISTORY and aspires, through the education on the documentary field ,to be a conduit for the promotion and dissemination of the cultural heritage, the heritage of our homeland. At the same time, it functions as a platform of collecting, recording and screening of documentaries with stories of people, places, cultures from all over the world.

Perhaps the most important function of the organization is the Cyprus Archaeological, Ethnographic and Historical Documentary Festival, through which its educational dimension is shown, emphasizing the participation of students of all levels, not only as spectators but also as creators. This action that is strengthened year by year and actuates the young to research, record and present issues related to the cultural heritage and history of our place, through documentaries.

In 2018, Tetraktys Films in collaboration with the Unesco Cyprus Schools Partnership Network, organized on a pilot basis the first cycle of student documentaries on short documentary film production, with the participation of 60 students and 7 teachers from 6 high schools. As part of this workshop, the students made five 10-minute documentaries, which were presented at the 1st International Festival of Archaeological, Ethnographic and Historical Documentaries and later on, during a student seminar, where the 2nd cycle of workshops for 2019 was announced.
